FilePost is a file hosting API based in Sweden. We do not pre-screen every user upload, but illegal, abusive, harmful, or infringing content is not allowed.

To report content, email support@filepost.dev with the subject "FilePost content report".

Do not attach illegal material to your email. Send the FilePost URL and enough context for us to review it.

What to include

The FilePost URL you are reporting
The reason for the report, such as malware, phishing, copyright infringement, personal data exposure, harassment, or illegal content
A short explanation of why the file should be removed
Your contact email in case we need clarification
For copyright reports: identify the copyrighted work and your relationship to the rights holder

Urgent safety reports

If the report involves an immediate threat to someone's life or safety, child sexual abuse or exploitation, terrorism, trafficking, or another urgent criminal matter, contact your local law enforcement authority first. We may report suspected serious criminal activity to the appropriate authorities when required or appropriate.

What happens next

We review reports as quickly as possible for a small service. If a file violates our Terms or applicable law, we may remove it, disable access, purge CDN cache, suspend the account or API key, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with valid legal requests.
